Book Reading and Signing (Houston, TX)

Aki Yamaguchi, Houston hospice veterinarian Dr. Christie Cornelius, and Blue Willow Books are all teaming up to host a wonderfully heartwarming event for pet lovers in our community!
Aki and Dr. Cornelius met after her beloved 'Heart Dog' Jazzy was diagnosed with cancer. Working together, a plan for Jazzy's care was put in place that gave her many more happy "Bonus Days" - each featured in this memoir alongside Aki's stunning photography.
This book touches the heart, mind, and soul of any lover of dogs, past or present, and is THE story of the power of the human-animal bond. Aki will discuss and sign her photo memoir HEART DOG ANGEL IN DISGUISE for those who attend. Dr. Cornelius will introduce Aki and will provide information and answer questions about what pet hospice is and why, in many instances, it is superior to conventional methods of providing end-of-life care to our companions.
